PROCESSING PURPOSES AND LEGALITY

We may collect personal data through this website

  • for the purpose of responding to the query (contact form, e-mail)
  • for the purpose of registering for a conference or other event in our organization (application form)

Such processing of personal data is lawful in accordance with the General Regulation as it is necessary for the performance of the requested service or in order to take action for providing the service.

The collected data is not processed for any other purpose.

LEGITIMATE INTEREST

In certain situations, we may process your personal data based on our legitimate interest. Then when we carry out processing on this basis, based on your special situation, you can object to such processing. In this case, we will limit or completely stop such processing in relation to you.

SHARING PERSONAL DATA

We may share your personal data for use to providers of IT and communication and bookkeeping solutions and services acting as our processors and to processors who prepare printed material for us for the purpose of holding a conference or other event (e.g. making accreditations and other printed materials) when you have applied for such an event.

Those processors shall provide reasonable guarantees and shall have taken appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to adequately ensure data protection and compliance with the requirements of the General Regulation. We have concluded a contract with such processors on the processing of personal data, which details the treatment of personal data in accordance with Commission (EU) IMPLEMENTING DECISION 2021/915 of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses between controllers and the processors underArticle 28(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Article 29(7) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council; therefore they shall not able to process your personal data without our order and share it on to third parties.

Personal data shall not be shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes.

RAZDOBLJE POHRANE  PODATAKA

From the moment you provide us with your personal information, we shall process and store them only until the purpose for which the personal data were provided is fulfilled. For example, we process your e-mail address only for as long as our communication lasts. After the end of the purpose, we no longer use personal data. However, the personal data you provide to us for the purpose of signing up for a conference or other events may remain longer in our storage system without being processed, if bound by legal norms (for example, we are obliged to store bookkeeping documents for 11 years). We store the photographs taken at a conference or other events permanently or until you request their deletion based on your special situation.

DATA COLLECTED THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS

The pages and profiles we manage on social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) are always under the exact full or abbreviated name of this organization.

On such sites and profiles we can share photos taken at a conference or other event for information purposes.

We use personal information about our contacts by using these pages and profiles only in case of responding to a query or comment and for no other purpose is the data processed or stored.

USE OF COOKIES

We use technical cookies on this website. These are cookies necessary for the functioning of the website and cannot be excluded. We may also use non-essential "cookies" to improve the operation of the system and to improve your user experience but in this case we will then ask for your consent beforehand. SECURITY OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

We collect and process personal data in a way that ensures adequate security and confidentiality in their processing and enables the effective application of the data protection principle, reducing the amount of data, the scope of their processing, the storage period and their availability. To this end, we have put in place appropriate technical and organisational safeguards that ensure a level of security corresponding to the risks posed by data processing and the nature of the personal data being protected, bearing in mind the characteristics and costs of their deployment.

We regularly review processing that may pose a risk to an individual's rights and freedoms, and we have taken appropriate safeguards to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, especially in cases where processing involves the transfer of personal data over the network, and from any other unlawful forms of processing.

EXERCISE OF RIGHTS

Right of access

At any time, you can ask us to confirm whether your personal data and detailed information about the processing in particular about their purpose of processing, about the type/categories of personal data being processed, including insight into your personal data, about recipients or categories of recipients, and about the estimated period in which personal data will be stored.

Right to correction

You have the right to obtain from us without delay the correction of inaccurate and supplementing incomplete personal data.

Right to delete

You have the right to make a request to delete your personal data. In case of justification of the request and if the legislation does not oblige us to store the data, the data will be deleted without undue delay.

This right does not apply to the extent that processing is necessary:

  • in order to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information;
  • in order to comply with a legal obligation requiring processing in Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject or to perform a task of public interest or to exercise the official authority of the controller;
  • for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with the General Regulation
  • to make, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data if you dispute the accuracy of these data (for a period allowing us to verify the accuracy of personal data), if the processing is unlawful whereby you object to the deletion of the data, if you have objected to the processing of your data and if we no longer need the data and can excrete it, but you need it to state, exercise or defend legal claims, and therefore you want us to continue to store them only.

Right to complain and object

If you have complaints or objection regarding the processing of personal data, you can contact us at any time and, based on your particular situation, object to the processing of personal data we carry out.

When you believe that the collection and processing of personal data has resulted in a violation of your rights, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority:
